Top 5 blockchain headliners to take centre stage

As the Malta A.I. and Blockchain Summit inches closer to the big day, here’s a breakdown of some of the top blockchain speakers gracing the stage on May 23-24.
Hon. Joseph Muscat
True to his proactive tendencies, the honourable Prime Minister of Malta, Joseph Muscat, is set to inaugurate the biggest tech summit in town, where he will participate as a keynote speaker. Mr. Muscat will underline the Government’s initiatives to make this budding space flourish on the Blockchain island, which has gone out of its way to welcome entrepreneurs and enthusiasts from all walks of life.
The Prime Minister has been front and centre in Malta’s progression as a primary blockchain jurisdiction. He made a strong statement of intent to the rest of Europe before the legislative process was started at the national level last year. Dr. Muscat said:
I understand that regulators are wary of this technology but the fact is that it’s coming We must be on the frontline in embracing this crucial innovation, and we cannot just wait for others to take action and copy them. We must be the ones that others copy.
Being one of the most knowledgeable traders in both traditional and cryptocurrency markets, Tone is set to participate in a fiery discussion with Roger Ver – the man behind Bitcoin Cash. Hailing from the auspicious land of Silicon Valley, Ben Parr is an award-winning journalist, author, entrepreneur, venture capitalist and expert on attention. Ben will be delivering a keynote speech on the 24th of May during the A.I., IoT & Big Data conference to give us some insight into fortune 500 companies and how to become one. Forbes has named Ben one of its “30 Under 30″ and was named one of the top 10 tech journalists in the world by Say Media.
Being the top dog for Bitcoin Cash – a fork of Bitcoin – Roger Ver is a familiar face with most cryptocurrency analysts, enthusiasts and journalists. Roger will be hitting it off with Tone Vays on the mainstage while also participating in panel discussions about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency fundamentals. He is an early investor in Bitcoin-related startups and has been a prominent support of Bitcoin adoption due to the properties of economic freedom inherent within on of the top-most digital assets. Bitcoin Cash is a hard fork of Bitcoin which intends to fix issues such as high fees and long transaction confirmation times.
Brock is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist with an extensive track record of founding, advising and investing in disruptive businesses. He will be taking centre stage at the summit and diving deep into his early presence in the space and what his take on mass crypto adoption in the not-too-distant future.
He’s credited with pioneering the market for digital currency and has raised more than $5B for companies he has founded. Pierce is the Chairman of the Bitcoin Foundation and co-founder of EOS Alliance, Block.one, Blockchain Capital, Tether, and Mastercoin. Pierce is a sought-after speaker who has spoken about the power of blockchain technology and decentralization at global events and institutions.
