The Maltese firm, Ledger projects, has signed a milestone deal with the Bitfury Group, regarding innovative blockchain solutions in Malta.

Bitfury retains a reputable name of the world’s leading, full-service, blockchain technology company. The firm provides both hardware and software solutions to governments, as well as the private sector.

Bitfury’s objective entails working exclusively with Ledger Projects in order to merge the Maltese company’s innovative platform with Bitfury’s blockchain infrastructure.

“Malta is an innovative country that has opened its doors to new technology like blockchain,” Valery Vavilov, CEO of Bitfury.

Presently, Bitfury occupies over 500 employees in 16 countries. The firm has launched multiple blockchain applications over a national scale. Its extensive array of products rope in security, transaction processing, land titling, healthcare, and analytics.

“Our partnership with Bitfury confirms that Malta is set to take centre-stage in this sector,” added Mr Schranz.

The two companies aim to design a program that offers access to Bitfury’s cutting-edge technology and wealth of knowledge in block-chain to Malta-based education groups.

“Since our launch last September, the feedback here in Malta and around the world has been very encouraging,” said David Schranz, CEO of Ledger Projects.

“We have seen Ledger Projects’ platform evolve from a simple DLT application to a complex ecosystem with a robust use case for full-scale projects and services.”

Exonum, one of Bitfury’s products, is set to be the next milestone move in the blockchain sector. Recently, Bitfury also rolled out Crystal – an analytics platform that aids law enforcement agencies to uncover illegal activities. By utilising this project, the blockchain industry can significantly simplify anti-money laundering and KYC processes, making it a smoother process for financial institutions to tackle money laundering and other criminal activities.

Ledger Projects places particular focus on research and development to transition DLT from theory to reality. It aims to achieve this by building avant-garde platforms and innovative applications for State and private enterprise use.
